This is my first photo book. A collection of photographs through the years, through many places, of people and things unknown and strange to each other, but somehow connected through their monotony. This is a mediation on monotony, which I am constantly drawn to capture, especially in its subliminal state.

As Susan Sontag said, “Photography is momento mori.” The moment you take the photo it becomes the part of the avalanche of time. It’s in the past. It’s in the present. It’s in the future.
I always looked at Aditya as someone who travels through time. As someone who is immortal. As someone who with every touch of the red button, transmits himself in all the directions of time and space. He is everywhere. I can feel him even when he is not around. By sometimes just ooking at the roofs of the buildings, at the open window of a destroyed house feeling him creating the photo form the future. When I walk I imagine him taking my photo. And I imagine myself on that photo. And that imaginary photo becomes me in the present. I don’t know how to talk about Aditya without metaphors and analogies. He captures the moments of coincidences, beauty, emotions, feelings and cozy feeling of self. When I look at his photos I see myself. I find myself. Again. Every time.”
